Winfield Correctional Facility: Community Meeting for Spiritual Life Center
Posted on Oct 14, 2019
WCF is constructing a freestanding Spiritual Life Center.
Many criminal offenders have multiple addictions to alcohol and/or other drugs, weak problem solving and self-management skills, poor parenting skills, and low self-esteem. Offenders also tend to establish poor priorities in life and are involved in dysfunctional relationships. Faith communities play a significant role in the lives of offendersby providing hope, compassion, and helping them to understand and internalize ultimate issues. The Winfield Correctional Facility Spiritual Life Center will provide opportunities for offenders from diverse faiths to develop and restore relationships with God, their families, communities and crime victims.
